ipad-100828Aug 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is good news for those people who have got tired of waiting for Apple iPad since the demand of the device is far exceeding the supply. Apple launched the tablet internet device in April this year amidst much hoopla and excitement and it proved to be a runaway success. In fact the success took even Apple by surprise. The first lot of iPads was exhausted quickly after its launch. This resulted in customers getting impatient waiting for their iPads. The latest update is that the delivery time has improved and it seems that apple will be able to meet the demand for the Touchscreen internet access device soon. There are no production issues as well.

It has been reported that the orders for the 3G capable and Wi Fi only models of iPad in all storage sizes will now be delivered within one working day. Apple indicated a few weeks earlier that it is seriously looking into the iPad delivery time issue and things will improve. In the first three months post its release the device sold 3.27 million units. Apple officials had to admit that the success of the device caught them off guard. However, there are other reasons why Apple is trying to ensure that the delivery time of the device gets improved. HP and Dell have unveiled their respective devices for internet access. Apple is in no mood to lose its market share in this nascent segment.

The Apple iPad is selling more than Macbook and iMacs the company has said. The company may release updates on the device on September 1st.
