New York, Jan 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Mac App Store was just opened yesterday but it seems that hackers are had their field day today.

The app store is meant to offer flexible way to purchase and store several Mac applications on the Internet. The Mac App Store has more than a thousand applications and it will allow apps to be installed on up to five Mac computers.

Several hackers are claiming to have got hold of the apps but one group called the “Hackulous” says it has developed a program called Kickback which literally breaks the applications’ copy protection systems and allows users to freely pirate the applications.

Hackulous claims that they are ready to make the Kickback program available on the Internet but they told BBC that before they do that, they want to ensure that the Mac Apple Store has more applications in stock.

The group told BBC that, “We’re not going to release Kickback until well after the store’s been established. We don’t want to devalue applications and frustrate developers.”

Other hackers are also claiming to have managed to breach the security barrier of the app store. They claim that paid programs in some cases can be made to run free on other computers by just copying and pasting the receipt number of free applications.
