Greenpois0n JailbreakFeb 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) When Apple the Cupertino based technology giant is offering iOS 4.3 beta builds to several developers an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 has been released by the Chronic Dev Team. Available at the greenpois0n website it is targeted at the Mac OS X platform and iPhone users. The version for Windows is going to hit the web soon as the developer team has promised. With the new jailbreak the Apple devices running the iOS including iPod touch, iPad and iPhone could be freed from the carriers. The procedure as described in the web is easy and it can be activated by following a few steps. However, this is not meant for the users of the iPhone 4. They cannot unlock their devices from the carrier as it has been reported. What this means is that the users would not be allowed to make use of custom SIM cards.

The new Greenpois0n tool meant for Mac OS X allows for untethered jailbreak. This means every time the battery drains out or the device is restarted there is no need to apply the jailbreak again. The device needs to be connected to a MC computer and the user needs to perform a iOS 4.2.1 restore. Next he should jailbreak it using the hack provided by Greenpois0n. After restarting the device the users needs to tap on the Loader app which will resolve everything then.

As is the case with most jailbreaks the latest version can take some time to reach the Mac users. The news has made the millions of iPhone ad iPad users hopeful who had been looking forward to a tool that can set their devices free from the grip of the carriers.
