New York, Feb 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Google showcased its unique and offbeat ad in the Superbowl, and it was very well thought of, to say the least. Google has a profound impact on our daily lives, and this is what Google portrayed in the ad. The dependency of the common man on Google was showcased in the ad.

The ad begins with a person typing in ‘Study Abroad Paris France’. He is presented with a list of the institutions, then he types in ‘Cafes near the Louvre’. He gets a list of the cafes near his educational institution. Apparently he is on a date, that is why he is searching for cafes, because in the next search he looks for the meaning of a French phrase – which means that ‘you are cute’. Then the ad progresses from ‘Chocolate Shop’ to ‘Truffles’ to some serious intellectual discussion read-up as well.

Soon it is clear that the couple is in a relationship, and the person has left back to his homeland because he looks up ‘long distance relationship advice’. Later the heart beckons, he searches for ‘Jobs in Paris’, shifts back to Paris, hunts for ‘churches’, and gets married. And ultimately the 52-second ad ends when the person is looking up ‘how to assemble a crib’.
