Google Resolves Several Problems For Chrome In New Version

Aug 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Internet search giant Google which tasted massive success with its web browser Chrome Thursday released its latest version and also solved several bugs in the application. This comes as a boon for the thousands of chrome users. It has been reported that Google has resolved 9 security vulnerabilities in the popular application. Two critical threats have also been taken care of according to Google. The new version of the browser is 5.0.375.127 and it is applicable for platforms like Linux, Mac and Windows. A few days back Google had announced that five other flaws in the browser were fixed. As a matter of fact Google issues new updates for the browser quite frequently.
Some of the flaws that have been corrected in the latest version could lead to memory corruption and system shutdown after crash. Ever since the search giant released Chrome in the market the users lapped it up for its speed and enhanced security features. Microsoft went back to the design table to counter the chrome threat and along with Firefox and opera, Chrome is making a dent in the IE user base since its inception. The Mac version of the browser is also out.
Chrome has become popular also for its clutter free no nonsense interface. It now offers various extensions and themes for the users so that they can customize it according to their needs. The users of Chrome mainly use Windows and a flaw was related with Windows kernel. Therefore the update comes as a big relief for them. The browser also has an auto update feature to make things easier for the clients.
