Google Nexus One Mountain View, Jan 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is mounting speculation that Google is all set to showcase its Nexus One in the CES 2010, which is starting from 7th January. The main features of the Nexus One are its thin shape, 4GB or memory, 3G access, and USB access for downloading. There are hints that the phone is only available to T-Mobile customers, but at the same time, rumors are also ripe that AT&T is also interested in a deal with Google.

Another major news is that besides the worldwide release of the Nexus One, Google is looking to venture into the netbook industry. Not many details are available about the Netbook, but what is definitely known for sure is that the system will run by a patented Google Chrome Operating System.

Gizmodo reports, that Google is thinking about selling the handset on its own, and that an unlocked version of the phone will be made available for US$530 (£330). The phone’s sole subsidized contract provider will be T-Mobile in the US. And this partnership will bring the hardware cost down to US$180 (£110), but the handset will be only available at a two-year agreement of US$80 (£50) per month, according to sources.

HTC, a Taiwanese company who is already manufacturing the Google Android mobile software, will also manufacture the phone.
