google1 Mountain View, Mar 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Google has had a astonishing and almost unchallenged run and monopoly as the primary search engine, but in recent times it is also trying to diversify from their core business, with the launch of a lot of new products and services. On Tuesday evening, Google launched the ‘Apps Marketplace’, which has a number of apps that the users can use for enhancing their productivity, and for other professional purposes also. The Google Apps Marketplace was launched with 50 such apps.

It is an online marketplace through which even the 3rd party developers can sell their paid apps to millions of users. They can also offer them free, if they desire so. All the products and the services of the Google Apps Marketplace have been designed keeping the discerning Google user in mind. As always, there is the single sign-on facility, which is the hallmark of all the Google products. Google’s universal navigation is also present, and some of the apps can also be integrated with the user’s domain data. There are a wide range of apps to help both individuals and businesses.

There are over 25 million Google app engine users, out of which 2 million are believed to be businesses.
