Oct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Over the weekend ‘Google’ announced yet another release. But this time it was no search engine or blogging tool, Google has been building robotic cars, which can drive themselves, and use several Google apps, such as Google maps, etc to “see” how to drive.

Although there were people along for the ride, to make sure everything went smoothly, Google’s new car managed to drive itself around the state of California, down the very curved Lombard Street in San Fransisco, across the Pacific Coast Highway, and from the Mountain View Headquarters of Google all the way to Santa Monica, 350 miles away.

In all Google cars have managed to log 140,000 miles. Although Google has not yet explained what they plan to do with these cars, it is suspected that this will be good business for them, since so many Google products are used by the cars.
