nexus New York, Jan 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Google is all set to face new woes, for naming its ambitious ‘super-phone’ as the Nexus One. As the family of author Philip K. Dick is set to sue Google over its use of the Nexus One name, according to a report published in the UK’s Telegraph. Dick wrote the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? in the year 1968. In this book, which later served as the basis for the movie Blade Runner, features a series of robots known as Nexus 6 models. “In my mind, there is a very obvious connection to my father’s novel,” Isa Dick Hackett, the late author’s daughter, has gone on the record as saying.

Meanwhile the Nexus One has a strong industrial design, as its uses a 1 GHz Qualcomm (QCOM) Snapdragon processor. The phone has 3.75 OLED display, which offers a rich display. The processor allows a really fast experience. There’s a trackball for navigation, but also serves as notification tool, with LED light under the trackball. It also includes the compass, GPS, accelerometer, also light and proximity sensors. Proximity sensor prevents accidental touches of the keyboard when held up to your ear. It takes very high-resolution images and videos

A new great feature for Android on this phone is the active noise cancellation. The contact points enable inline remotes and mics. And there is inline noise cancellation, there are two mics, front and back, which enable nose suppression. And it also has custom engraving on the lower bezel. It is 22.5mm thick, weighs 130g, and has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. It also has a 3.7-inch AMOLED display and 1GHz Snapdragon. It is also voice-enabled, so that whatever you speak, gets written on the phone.
