Google Declares To Take Ownership Of Admob

Nov. 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Google Inc. in the recent days, launched several new services, tools and features to increase its web presence and on Monday they announced their decision of taking the ownership of Admob, the firm that develops technology for plopping advertisements in mobile phones.
To take this major leap, Google Inc. will pay the firm a sum of $700 [approximately]. Sources stated that this is the third largest deal made by Google Inc. and with this deal it will increase its dominance in the mobile web world. Google is already playing a strong role in the mobile web world with its Android services and DoubleClick Mobile. The ownership of Admob would increase its presence in the mobile web significantly. Vice president of Google, Susan Wojcicki, made a blog post referring to the deal with Admob and said, “We believe that great mobile advertising products can encourage even more growth. That’s what has us excited about this deal.”
According to the sources, Google considers that market will have immense growth in the coming years and ownership of Admob will increase their expertise in the market. The deal of Google with Admob will help them in improving their tools and products for mobile applications and websites. Google has always given importance to the advertisement business and has introduced different free applications and services for drawing more advertisements. It has been reported by the sources that Google Inc. generates $22 billion annual revenue from advertisement and wants to increase it. With Admob, they expect to display more relevant advertisements on the internet and increase their profit level.
