Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) With reports of cyber crimes increasing with every passing day, it was necessary to take some strict measured in cyber policing. In an initial step toward that direction, Google has teamed up with the National Security Agency. The alliance is still in the blueprint stage though, although it is certain that it would take place. As of now, the finalization of the agreement is in process. However, none of the two companies have agreed to comment on the matter. On the other hand, the team could not have comprised two better mates, one the biggest search engine in the world wide web, and the other the best electronic surveillance company.
The teaming up between the National Security Agency and Google has been done in order to analyze a cyber crime that involved a major espionage in a corporate firm. According to the company, the crime had occurred in China. According to the cyber experts associated with the company, the criminals had targeted to attack the computer networks of the company. As part of the alliance, the National Security Agency would try to ensure that Google is secure from such possible attacks in the future.
According to some of the sources with inside information on the matter, the terms of the agreement state that Google would be able to share with the National Security Agency such information that is crucial to the maintenance of the security of the company. However, it has been assured that the privacy of the users of Google would not be violated in the process. The agreement reportedly ensures that the National Security would not be tracking the data in any user’s e-mail, nor will Google give out proprietary information.
