chinaMar 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In the wake of the disagreement with the Chinese officials over imposition of restrictions on the internet, the biggest search engine across the world, Google is continuing talks with the Chinese government, according to reports. Although it is being stated that the search engine is still trying to convince the Chinese officials to tender an uncensored search engine in the nation, sources have revealed that the pull out of Google from China is almost certain.

Despite the fact that any kind of confirmation from officials of the search engine has not been forthcoming as yet, reports have surfaced claiming that the company has already planned details of how it would be departing the Chinese market and reportedly is set to execute the plans. However, a Google spokesperson has divulged on Monday that discussions with Chinese officials has not reached its conclusion as yet but also pointed out that the company would not be accepting censorship under any circumstances. On condition of anonymity, the spokesperson is said to have emphasized the stand of the company that restrictions on search results would not be entertained by Google.

Meanwhile, the media scenario in Beijing and the rest of China apparently is highlighting that the talks between the search engine and the nation has reached an impasse while drawing attention to the possibility that Google would shut down its Chinese language search engine. In the month of January, the company has sent shock waves across the political and business quarters when it warned that it would shut its operations in the nation if it was not allowed to offer unfiltered Chinese search engine.
