- At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), a trailer of the game “Final Fantasy 14″ was shown on Tuesday. The E3 was held in Los Angeles. Square Enix launched a site to showcase the teaser for the same too. “Final Fantasy” fans can catch the teaser for the game in this site.
The story of “Final Fantasy 14″ is set in medieval times. The setting is almost alike to “Final Fantasy 13″. There is the presence of Chocobos and airships, just like in the previous part. The trailer runs for a little more than 5 minutes.
In the promo demo, Snow is shown running through ruins of cities. It is shown that he is chased by enemies in the background. The battle commences only when all of the enemies are on the field. The demo remains intact in contents to what was shown in the Japanese version.
The promo’s only battle took place when Snow was seen to meet his enemies head on, flocked by Vanille and Lightning. Lightning is the central character in the “Final Fantasy” series. It is around him that the whole series is based, in the game as well as the movie versions.
During the fighting sequence, Vanille was shown to use a large staff like weapon that helped conduct electricity that she was producing using her magical abilities. The definite high of the demo came when Snow chanted the summon spell by holding a blue crystal in his hand. He summoned Shiva.
‘Final Fantasy 14′ will be available online as MMORGP (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). When it is launched next year, the game will be available on Sony Playstation 3.
