Sep 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Yesterday noted Japan based Game maker Square Enix started beta testing of the much awaited game Final Fantasy XIV. As everyone is aware Final Fantasy is among the most popular multiplayer game franchisees and there are millions of players addicted to it worldwide. It got delayed for long apparently because the company found a number of critical bugs and took time to fix them all. The game is going to be launched for PC on September 30 and for PS3 in March 2011. As the news of the delay in the beta testing of the game spread online the gamers posted various queries in their social networking accounts. Some rumors were also doing the rounds like the one that the game will release sans beta testing.

The beta testing version is meant exclusively for the PC users. The interested users may sign up at the official website of the game and enjoy the experience. There is no denying the fact that Final Fantasy has attained a cult status among the popular online multiplayer games despite the emergence of similar games in the past few years. No other gaming franchise has been able to come anywhere close to the popularity Final fantasy enjoys. The storyline of the games in this franchisee is the USP and the players love the fact that they never have to put up with same storyline.

Square Enix has revealed that it will put a restriction on the playing time for the game. The players can play at a stretch for 8 hours and after that they will get less experience points.
