Sep 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It looks like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is not having a good time at the moment. Even with Facebook’s half a billion users, many of the world’s media have bashed Zuckerberg for Facebook’s privacy strategies and his tendency to hide from the media in the recent weeks leading to the release of the movie, The Social Network, which has brought him some more media limelight.

Diaspora, which is an emerging social network, which is still in its initial stages has made its software code public and urged programmers and web designers to get on board in their quest to evolve the site to help compete against Facebook. Diaspora is expected to siphon some of Facebook’s market with its potential to provide better features to Facebook.

Diaspora is using the same tactics Firefox used to get a chunk of the browser market from Internet Explorer and Mashable believes Diaspora may thrive just like Firefox, which was founded six years ago.

A new interview by the New York Post was made available about the twin brothers who allege to have been betrayed by Zuckerberg in college. They allegedly had the original ideas about Facebook before Zuckerberg stole them and they are involved in a long-term legal battle with him. Their story features in the upcoming movie The Social Network.
