Facebook statuses make April Fools out of many

facebook New York, Apr 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Today is the April Fools Day and numerous people all over the world have made fools out of many of their friends, by their status messages on Facebook. Here are a few gems of the status messages that surprised their friends and made them fools too.

“I’ve decided to sell all my properties and live like a hermit in Mongolia.

Ricky Martin announced that Lance Bass is his boyfriend.

Some of the Facebook pranksters went one step ahead and changed their relationship status in a bid to fool their friends. When a ‘Single’ person changes the relationship status to ‘Engaged’ or ‘In a relationship’ or even the ‘Married’, then there is bound to be a lot of curiosity amongst their friends, who would definitely want to know the latest news about their friend’s love-life. But all of them were in for a pleasant surprise when they came to know that the relationship status change was just a joke.

Even Google is no stranger to April Fool Jokes. Every year on this day, they come up with a prank to fool their numerous users. This year they fooled the unsuspecting public when they announced on their official blog, that they had changed the name of Google to Topeka in a bid to honor the city of Topeka, as Topeka had changed its name to Google.
