microsoft-sips-facebook-milk-shakeAug 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a recent development that has sent waves in the tech industry, Microsoft, the Redmond based software giant has incorporated Facebook in its popular Windows Live Messenger. So the Windows Live Messenger users will be able to contact their Facebook buddies by means of message provided they are also online at the same time. With this Microsoft became a major instant messaging service provider to offer integration with Facebook. Microsoft wants to elevate its messenger service from just chat to a kind of social media service application. Besides, Microsoft has always shared a good professional rapport with Facebook.

However, it would be wrong to assume that all of the users of Microsoft’s Windows Live Messenger will be able to chat Live with their Facebook buddies. Initially the facility will be offered to the messenger users staying in countries like Germany, Brazil, Russia, France, United Kingdom and the United States. With Live messenger Microsoft is soon going to update its other applications belonging to the Live range including the Live Photo Gallery, Movie Maker and Writer. However, Microsoft has not announced any significant update for its newest operating system named Windows 7.

With this refresh the Live programs will be put out of the beta status and the bugs found in these apps will also be resolved. In another latest upgrade, the Movie Maker users will be enabled to upload their movies to Flickr. In next few months the users can expect a final version of Windows Live programs as a company spokesperson said. The Facebook users will appreciate this integration with Live Messenger as well.
