Victoria, May 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A cat that was seemingly lost was found by the Animal Authorities in British Columbia. This cat was found where it was living under a deck but its microchip revealed that the cat had been adopted somewhere in Montreal. This posed no serious concern because it was believed they could easily connect the owner via phone call.

According to Ian Fraser of the Victoria Animal Control Services, the cat may still have been with them till this moment if not for the smart suggestion of one of their staff that they should look up the facebook and see if the owner could be tracked. This was after they had tried contacting the person who adopted the cat through a phone call which was unavailable.

Searching the name on facebook, the Victoria Animal Control Services staff found out that the cat owner recently moved from Montreal to Victoria. Getting in touch with the cat owner was easier soon as they got her details from facebook.

Ian Fraser was full of smiles when she told the press on Monday that the lost cat had been reunited with its real owner, last Friday.
