Facebook Founder Informs The Users Of Upcoming Security Policy Changes

zuckerberg Dec.02 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO and founder of popular social networking service facebook has made an unprecedented move by reaching out to 350 million people who use the site by an email. The mail contains information about the upcoming changes made in the security policy of the site. As a matter of fact, Zuckerberg became one of the youngest billionaires of the world post Microsoft’s acquisition of 1.6 percent of facebook.

He mentioned in the email that the facebook site has become gigantic over time and that is why it has been decided to cease the regional networks totally. The facebook site will get a simplified privacy control model where the users will be able to pool content from their friends only. A feature will also be incorporated that will allow the facebook members to check who are watching the content uploaded or created by them. Some settings will be merged for simplified operations.

Every user has a preference that does not match with the others. That is why Facebook will suggest separate settings according to individual privacy levels of a user. As per the letter, all facebook users will be asked to take a decision on its privacy settings in the next few days. Online security has often been a reason for concern with the users of social networking sites and facebook is not an exception. Therefore, the new security policy that leaves the choice to the users will make people deal with online content with greater caution and freedom.
