Sep 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is no denying the fact that social networking has caught up big time with almost every generation nowadays and even the celebrities and media persons have got addicted to this trend. Among the various social networking sites Facebook is possibly the most popular one and its user base is increasing by leaps and bounds with time. There is no hard and fast rule for using one’s Facebook profile but certain aspects need to be kept in mind by people who like Facebook. Online communication can prove to be tricky at times and maintaining some basic etiquette is essential for becoming popular among the online friends who also use the service.
It is very important to be truthful while dealing with other Facebook users. It is quite easy to know if someone is faking about his life or credentials online these days and a person is caught cheating to others he gets blacklisted by a lot of people in no time. It pays to be a listener on sites like Facebook. A lot of people expect that their online friends will listen to their own tales and feelings and hence a user who listens to what others say gains more friends than others. It is also important to update the profile in Facebook and similar social networking sites as an updated and attractive profile gets the maximum number of viewers.
It is not advisable to use Facebook as the advertising medium for products and services. A lot of people do not like to see advertisements in Facebook and they block the users who do so intentionally.
