Mark Zuckerberg Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The popular social networking site Facebook is experiencing some down time. Users all over the world have been experiencing intermittent problems on the site since the last two days. On Wednesday, Facebook acknowledged the issue and said that the issue was related to a third party network provider.

They also tweeted on the popular micro blogging site Twitter that, “We’ve fixed the issue with a third-party networking provider, and anyone impacted should be able to access Facebook normally.” However the very next day, the problem reared its head once again. Users again started facing downtime and were not at all able to access the site for quite some time.

According to BNO News, Meredith Chin of Facebook said that, “We’re currently experiencing some site issues causing Facebook to be slow or unavailable for some users. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible”.

Later the issue was resolved for some time, but soon Facebook went off the hook again. Other websites, which embed Facebook widgets such as like buttons, etc, also appeared to be timing out due to Facebook’s failure.
