Facebook Down Due To Power Outage

Palo Alto, Feb 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Social networking sites have become immensely popular in the last few years and when any of these services develops a snag, the news gets circulated very fast among the users. In a recent development, the power system at the Palo Alto headquarters of Facebook went down after a plane crashed nearby. The Facebook team did not waste time and updated a post saying that the place is undergoing a power outage. However, the status update of Facebook says that it has no effect on the website of Facebook. Hence, the individual users of Facebook should not get affected.
The power outage affected the workers at the headquarters of Facebook. However, a number of Twitter users have posted in their accounts that the chat service of Facebook could not be accessed. As per the latest news, a Cessna airplane crashed near East Palo Alto in California. Reportedly, the aircraft crashed just after taking off. The plane exploded after crashing down, eyewitnesses have reported. Some homes in the locations have got affected.
A day care center for kids was also affected by the crash but luckily no children have got injured. When the plane crashed, it toppled against a power transmission tower. This led to the power outage in the area. Some adjacent areas have been affected by the power trip including a hospital. The viewers who tried to log in to their Facebook accounts reportedly faced certain difficulties. However, the news of the power cut has been published in the web and the confusion will be cleared soon. Facebook is trying to sort out the issue.
