espnu After Farmville and Mafia War, it is now time for yet another Facebook gaming application to create a rave. “ESPNU College Town” is the new game that will soon be popularized by the addicted “Facebookers” very soon. The game has been developed and released by Disney’s Playdom Inc.

“ESPNU College Town” will involve the players in the creation of their own virtual college campus and universities. The players are suppose to recruit their own athletes and players from their friend list, who can challenge the rival teams in the inter college sports events on the net. This game will help the players to connect with their academic friends and recreate an academic life. Mike Bucklin, manager of “ESPNU College Town” said that although games like Farmville and Mafia Wars have made themselves quite irresistible in the gaming scenario, Facebook could not do much for the genuine sport lovers. Moreover, his team also wanted to get out of farming and violence to create something cooler and more youthful. The best part about this game is, it has a good scope of creativity, as one can decorate and renovate his college campus and organize various fun shows and programs in order to keep the students happy and enroll more of them. The priority of your fictitious college would be anything but studies!

Playdom has created its own identity in the world of gaming. It has been awarded as one of the “2010 Hottest Silicon Valley Companies” by Lead411, and is considered as the most popular on line game provider, mostly of Facebook and My space. The company has a market worth $300 million, as one of the most popular virtual good provider through social networking and gaming sites.
