London, Dec 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) British police are at their wits end as an escaped prisoner Craig Lynch is mocking at them, as they are unable to trace him, while he keeps on dropping clues when he updates his Facebook status. The 28-year-old fugitive Craig Lynch escaped from the Hollesley Bay open prison near Suffolk, eastern England, way back in September. The British police are trying to catch him but have been unsuccessful so far.

He continuously updates his Facebook status to let the world know, what he is up to. He describes everything about his most recent meal to who is going to be his new girlfriend in the coming year 2010. “mmm i just had a 12lb venison steak. Roasted veg and chips, bangin meal. I feel stuffed but still got room for the j.d’s . Hope you enjoyed the meal babe’s. We’ll have to eat here again” Lynch wrote on his wall.

British police are trying to catch him and put him back in prison on the basis of these clues but haven’t caught him as yet. They have also appealed to the general public to help them in this endeavor. The technologically savvy Lynch was sentenced to a seven-year prison term for aggravated burglary and was serving his sentence in an open prison before his escape, according to a police spokeswoman.

“We have spoken to Facebook and we are trying to trace him from the information we have, but it’s one of those things that we’re also asking for help from members of the public,” Suffolk police spokesperson Anne-Marie Breach told CNN.
