Droid Incredible To Be Released In April

Apr 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much acclaimed Android based Smartphone HTC Desire is going to get a better successor if the news from some gadget sites is to be believed. April 29 will see the unveiling of the much awaited Droid Incredible also known as the HTC incredivble. However, it would be wrong to assume that it is related to the Motorola Droid released in USA few months back also through Verizon Wireless. This model is made by HTC and Verizon Wireless is going to be the carrier. The Droid Incredible has strong similarities with Google Nexus One and its specifications were released by a teaser site for some time. As expected, the model also uses the Android OS.
As per the specs revealed in the web, the upcoming Droid incredible will be powered by a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running at 1GHz speed. It will also have a whopping 8GB internal storage. The USP of the phone would be its 3.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480800 pixels. The phone will run Android 2.1, the latest version of the OS. However, the Incredible will have HTC’s revamped Sense UI. It offers enhanced support for the social networking applications.
The Droid Incredible will appeal to the gadget freaks also owing to its powerful 8MP camera. The camera has flash and autofocus for excellent imaging. However, from the revealed screenshots and specs it is not clear whether it will feature HD video recording like the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz. The site will be republished by Verizon Wireless shortly as it is being assumed. The company is expected to launch a fresh ad campaign for the model.
