Nov. 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Technical problems leading to the outage of different web based services is nothing new to internet users. Recently, the website of the telecommunication company, AT&T underwent some technical glitches and was down for some hours from Sunday late night to the early hours of Monday. The outage of web based services created difficulties for people who have e-mails with AT&T or use any other web based service of the company.

According to the sources, the technical problem leading to the outage of the AT&T created problems for several companies who use the email services of this company. The problems became even more serious as the iPhone users log on to the AT&T website and use their web mail services. AT&T web based services have gained huge popularity for the iPhone users and the sudden disruption of the service affected them on the weekend.

AT&T, one of the largest telecommunication companies of the country has gained popularity for introducing several features to their telecommunication services. They have recently declared to introduce the cloud computing services for their users and many worried that the outage was due to the new service. Later, it came to the news that the outage was for cyber cable cut and has been restored.

The company officials have said that the website has encountered problems for a fiber cut. It has also been confirmed by the officials that the technical problem that led to the outage of the site has been restored and all the services have started to function properly.
