Are Cell Phones Health Hazards? New Studies Indicate So

Jan 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There has been a lot of controversy on the effects of cell phone usage on human body and health and the proponents and detractors of the theory keep on coming out with new evidences for supporting their claim. The harmful side effects notwithstanding, the usage of cell phone is on the rise all over the world and people from all age groups use this device. Some researches have been carried out on mammals by keeping them in areas affected by radio active frequency matching that of the cellphones and the results have sent the alarm bell ringing. The researchers who think cell phone radiation can affect human health say that it has a direct impact on male fertility. A number of studies conducted in various universities in Europe and Asia show that cell phone radiation can affect semen production and sperm count.
Apart from male sexual health the radiation from mobile phones can also impact the general immunity level of human beings adversely. This can aggravate the chances of falling prey to a number of diseases over time. It can also accelerate the natural aging process in some people the recherches claim. However, the detractors of the theory have said that there is no direct link between cancer and cell phone usage and that human immunity does get affected by a number of other factors that often gets unnoticed.
Whether the usage of cell phone may turn fatal for humans need to be established, but there is no denying that in present scenario discarding cell phones will become impossible and troublesome for millions of people. Possibly, the solution lies in developing technology for wireless communication that has less side effects.
