Apple’s iPad to be available in 9 more countries from the 28th of May

ipad New York, May 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Apple has announced that its latest product, the iPad, would now be available in nine more countries from the 28th of May. Customers from the nine countries can pre-order all the available iPad models from Apple’s online store from the 10 May, according to a statement from Apple.

The nine countries, which have been added to the list, are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. The United States of America was the first country where the iPad went on sale. And since its release in America, the iPad has sold over a million copies, which didn’t surprise anybody since Apple’s products have very loyal customers.

Apple has also announced that it will release the iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July. Since the iPad was released in April 2010, the iPad has been an instant hit with the American people, selling more than one million copies in less than two months, which is a staggering record in itself.

This release announcement comes when customers in America are searching desperately for the product, because there have been numerous media reports, that most shops have run out of stock of the iPad.
