Apple iPad’s price is a hit with all

iPad San Francisco, Jan 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Apple had launched the iPad at a special event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco yesterday. According to Steve Jobs, ‘iPad is much more intimate than a laptop and it’s much more capable than a Smartphone.’ It is said to bridge the gap between iPod and the Apple MacBooks. The basic iPad with Wi-Fi and 16 GB of storage is priced at just $499. Even though before the launch, there were rumors that it would be priced around $1000. But when Steve Jobs announced that the basic iPad would cost just $499, then there was disbelief all over.

For the 32 GB version with Wi-Fi, the price is $599 and for the 64 32 GB version with Wi-Fi, the price is 699. And there are other iPad’s too with 3G, however they cost a wee bit more on the pocket. The 16 GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G costs $629 and the 32 GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G costs $729 and the 64 GB iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G costs $829. Steve Jobs also announced that the shipping for the 3G models would start in around 3 months. Whereas the Wi-Fi models will be shipped worldwide in just 60 days.

iPad also has the best capacitive multi-touch sensors in the whole wide world, so it is very precise and super responsive as well. It is very good for gaming also because of the super fast responsive times. Besides this it has a battery life of 10 hours, which is quite a lot. It is just 0.5 inches thin, and it weighs just 1.5 pounds. And it has a 9.7-inch IPS display.
