Angry birds maker Rovio to collaborate with Medio

Los Angeles, Aug 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rovio, the mobile gaming company that introduced the highly successful game Angry Birds, have announced that they will collaborate with Seattle-based Medio to improve the playing experience of the game. The game is already being played 1.4 billion minutes every week but users all over the world. The game is one of the most successful in the mobile world with total download of 300 million.

The success of the game has got Rovio to release a PC copy. In a statement which was released by the company, Rovio said that Medio will help improve the playing experience of the game by coming up with addictive tools that will keep players hooked to the game for more hours. Subsequently, they have brought on board Medio’s predictive analytics engine which helps to guess the next move of a player.

In a press statement which was released by Rovio, the company announced that, “The success of Rovio is built on delighting our fans and a commitment to innovation. We are pleased to partner with Medio to help further accomplish these goals. Medio has what it takes to help delight our fans.”

Mobile gaming is expected to grow into a huge market in 2015 with an estimated value of more than $16 billion.
