Zaragoza sign veteran goalkeeper Franco
July 18th, 2010 - 12:55 pm ICT by IANSMadrid, July 18 (DPA) Spanish football club Zaragoza has announced the signing of veteran Argentine goalkeeper Leo Franco from Turkish giants Galatasaray for an undisclosed fee.
Franco, 33 - who played for Argentina at the 2006 World Cup - spent just one season in Turkey after leaving Atletico Madrid in 2009.
He is Zaragoza’s fourth summer signing, after Matteo Contini, Toni Doblas and Marco Perez.
