Yuvraj urges fans to sing national anthem loudly
March 30th, 2011 - 3:19 pm ICT by IANSMohali, March 30 (IANS) India’s middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh has requested the fans to sing the national anthem “loudly” to inspire the team in their high-intensity World Cup semifinal at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) Stadium here Wednesday.
“All dear ones in the stadium tomorrow! Pl inspire us by singing our national anthem loudly, jai hind, goodnight,” Yuvraj tweeted Tuesday night.
“Request all people in the stadium to inspire us by singing the national anthem loudly. Jai hind.”
Yuvraj, who is from Chandigarh, is all excited to play before his home crowd. Besides, he is in such a terrific form both with the bat and the ball and he has been adjudged Man-of-the-Match in four matches.
“Goin to chd (chandigarh) after a long time!! Looking forward to play in my home town!!.”
