Mumbai, Dec 22 (IANS) A finger injury has ruled out India’s middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh from the remaining two matches of the one-day series against Sri Lanka.
Yuvraj had picked up the injury while fielding during the second Twenty20 match at Mohali and had to sit out for the first two ODIs.

“Due to the finger injury sustained earlier, Yuvraj Singh has been advised rest. He will not play in the fourth and fifth ODIs against Sri Lanka,” Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary N. Srinivasan said in a statement Tuesday.

The fourth ODI is at Kolkata Dec 24, followed by the final at Delhi Dec 27.
