alcsNew York, Oct.25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Game 6 of ALCS between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels was stopped for rain. Game 6, which was originally scheduled on Saturday night would be played on Sunday, stated the sources. The sources also reported that Game 7 would be played on Monday.

New York Yankees have already taken a lead in the series and would give their best to win the series in the sixth game. However, Angels’ win in the Game 6 would tie the score of the two teams in the series and then Game 7 would become important for both the teams.

New York Yankees have lots of expectations from their veteran player Andy Petite. It is expected that he would play well in the Game 6 and help the team win the ALCS. If New York Yankees can win the ALCS title then they would get the opportunity to play against the Philadelphia Phillies, who has become the champion of NLCS for two consecutive years. Game 6 is extremely important for the team. Yankees would win the title if they win the game and Angels would be able to remain in the series if they can win the game.

Los Angeles Angels who had played well in the Game 5 would try to keep up their performance in the sixth game of the series. They would try to win the sixth game so that the final decision of the series is made on the Game 7. Result of Game 6 will be important for both the teams and they are expected to play an exciting match on Sunday.
