Yankees Get 2-1 Lead Over Phillies In World Series Game 3

yanksPhiladelphia, Nov.1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The New York Yankees has taken a lead in the World Series Game by winning the Game 3 on Saturday. Rain had delayed the third game of the World Series but that did not matter to the Yankees. Yankees, who has displayed an excellent form this season, scored 8-5 in the third game and managed to take a lead in the World Series. All the players are in good form and contributed towards the team’s win.

Hideki Matsui, Nick Swisher and Alex Rodriguez had played well in the match and increased the score of the team. Andy Petite, a veteran player of the team, was the man who helped the team score victory. He fulfilled the expectations of the team and fans by playing well in the fifth innings of the game. Phillies has a strong team this year but they could not restrict the Yankees to get a lead in the World Series Game. After winning the game, the Yankees will try to increase their lead in the series.

As stated by the sources, C.C. Sabathia is supposed to play in the fourth match of the World Series. He had displayed outstanding performance in this season and is expected to play well against the Phillies. The next game of the World Series would be played on Sunday and Sabathia is expected to be completely charged up after getting a short rest. The team is obviously upbeat after managing a lead in the World Series and is expected to play tactfully so that they can win another World Series title.
