Xavier University Suffers Defeat Against Kansas State

reema5Salt Lake City, March 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The basketball game fans ultimately got what they were waiting for. It was one of the brilliant NCAA tournament matches ever played on court. The basketball fans got to see a real game on Thursday when second seeded Kansas State team was put against sixth seeded Xavier team. Both the teams were at their best and it got tough to keep a track of the score board which was in a rush to keep pace with the players who seemed in a crazy drive to add points to their team. At the end of the game, the score board was heavy with the weight of the points with the final scores being 101-96 and the game went in favor of Kansas State team.

Kansas State made no mistake this time and defeated sixth seeded Xavier in the tournament’s best play till now. However, as is clear from the score Xavier was in no mood to lose the game. The game continued for double overtime and with each and every passing second it got more and more exciting. It was flawless play but one had to win and the day was set for the Kansas State.

The game reached it’s end when a three-pointer was missed by team Xavier’s Jordan Crawford and then another miss by Brad Redford sealed the victory for the Kansas State. On the side of Kansas State team, Jacob Pullen contributed 28 points to his team. As the game got over, the coaches had only praises on their lips for such a brilliant show.
