inq_toptenfb20-aChicago, Nov 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Friday’s game between the teams of Illinois and Northwestern saw authorities choosing the west as the direction for the game at the Wrigley Field. The entire game was played facing the west zone of the Wrigley field.

A source claims that this decision not only affected the course of the game but also created some difficulty for players of both the teams, as well as the spectators who had turned up to witness the game. As a result of this change in direction, the entire view of the game got altered in the eyes of its audience. It is definitely a sad news for the football lovers whose seats would be alloted in the blenchers, along the right-field line, for no longer will the game be heading towards their direction. To add more disappointment to this already heart-breaking news for many fans, the change in direction will also result in the missing of opportunity to catch a field goal or an extra point which often happened to audience seated in the right-field bleachers on the Sheffield Avenue. This will be something greatly missed by the fans. Previously, this was something that rendered to the game an element of uniqueness.

However, nothing could be done by the fans who can only feel helpless, as claimed by a source. Northwestern communications assistant director Scott Hammer said that this policy prevents the allowance for refunds or any kind of changes in the sitting arrangement since the tickets of the game were already sold out. People were allotted seats in a random order. Although there was a preference list for seats, but without any guarantee that people would get them.
