hulkSt. Petersburg, Florida, Apr 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has filed a lawsuit against his car insurance company for its alleged failure to provide him with sound advice about undertaking a policy that would have protected his personal fortune in the wake of his son’s car crash incident in the year 2007. The much loved wrestler and television personality has sued Wells Fargo Insurance Services alleging that the car insurance firm was involved in malpractices.

The 56 year old professional wrestler’s son Nick Bollea was involved in a major accident in 2007 in which his friend John Graziano received severe injuries. The Hogan family’s car insurance company had then paid $250,000 to John Graziano and his family following the car crash. In the lawsuit that has been filed, it has been alleged that the policy limit of $250,000 had put Hulk Hogan’s net worth of $30 million into risk in order to settle the case. At the same time, it has also been alleged that the car insurance firm did not advise the wrestler properly to undertake a more expensive insurance policy due to teenage drivers. However, the amount which Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is seeking in damages from the firm has not been divulged as yet.

The noted wrestler paid a settlement in the lawsuit which was brought against him by the family members of John Graziano in which it was alleged that the Hogan family had been negligent in its actions which has ultimately resulted in John Graziano’s injuries. The legal tussle finally reached its conclusion in the month of February in which Hulk Hogan had to pay an amount to the Graziano family.
