New York, Dec 21 (ANI): Tiger Woods was a regular at strip clubs and topless bars but pretended to be so innocent as if he had never seen a stripper, it has emerged.

According to Tony Lombardi, former manager of strip hotspot Scores, the golf ace came to the club whenever he was in New York.

He revealed that Woods appeared like a shy “virgin to strip clubs”.

However, the golfer was able to keep his romps hidden from the public eye

with a little help from loyal buddies.

One of Woods’ protectors was his caddy, Steve Williams.

Another was Mark Steinberg, his agent at IMG, who helped kill a National Enquirer story about his alleged fling with pancake-house hostess Mindy Lawson by turning in Woods as a cover to sister publication Men’s Fitness.

Woods was always careful not to approach any women himself; it was always a member of his entourage making the introduction.

“There are always a lot of other people around, so it’s never one on one — it all looked very normal,” the New York Post quoted night-life impresario Rocco Ancarola, as saying.

He explained: “It camouflages what’s going on. He’d just point and say, ‘Who’s that?’ and they’d go over and say, ‘Tiger Woods wants to meet you.’ And they would never leave together.”

Ancarola said Woods name was never revealed since no one wanted to lose wealthy customers.

He added: “We in the business do that without thinking about it…You tend to protect the celebrities.” (ANI)
