Women of Oz cricketers just hate the WAG tag!
February 5th, 2011 - 6:52 pm ICT by ANIAdelaide, Feb 5 (ANI): The women, who are partners of men of South Australia’s cricket team Redbacks, have revealed that they just do not like to be referred to as WAGs.
Cindy Klinger, Jessica Farrell and Alice Monfries, the other halves of Redbacks’ Michael Klinger, Aiden Blizzard and Cameron Borgas respectively, have said they do not want any association with the word.
“It has very negative connotations,” Adelaide Now quoted Farrell as saying.
Klinger added: “We don’t like being referred to as a WAG.” (ANI)
