July 15th, 2009 - 7:00 pm ICT by IANSWolfsburg (Germany), July 15 (DPA) German under-21 international Fabian Johnson has moved to Bundesliga champions VfL Wolfsburg on a three-year contract, the club said Wednesday.
Wolfsburg have paid second-division 1860 Munich a reported 1 million euros (1.4 million dollars) for the midfield player who was a member of the under-21 squad which won the recent European Championships.
“He is a great talent who has by no means reached the end of his development. I am convinced that he will take further strides forward with us,” coach Armin Veh said.
