Wisconsin Badgers Wins Champs Sports Bowl

games1Orlando, Dec. 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Champs Sports Bowl game between the Wisconsin Badgers and the Miami Hurricanes ended with disappointments for the Hurricanes squad. Miami players, who had tried to dominate the game with their great speed could not anticipate that the Badgers’ players would overpower them and defeat them in the game.

According to the reports, it was John Clay’s performance that helped the Wisconsin Badgers claim victory in the bowl game. The player had scored a couple of touchdowns and rushed for 121 yards that shook the defense wall of the Miami Hurricanes and paved the path for Badgers win. Apart from the running back, John Clay, other Wisconsin players, Scott Tolzien and Montee Ball also played well. Montee Ball had rushed for 61 yards while Scott Tolzien had thrown 260 yards to add to the score of their team.

The tactful performance of the Wisconsin Badgers ended the game with a final score of 20-14 and made them victorious in front of more than fifty-six thousands spectators, who had come to see the game. It has been extremely disappointing for the Miami Hurricanes to lose the bowl game and their coach Randy Shannon exclaimed that things did not come in favor of his team for the night. The decision of the game could have been in favor of the Hurricanes if their offense would have played a better game. Jacory Harris, the quarterback of the Miami Hurricanes could not give his best in the game. He could only make a pass of 188 yards, in the game and was sacked nearly five times during the course of the game.
