Windies expose chink in Ponting’s armour
December 22nd, 2009 - 1:56 pm ICT by ANIPerth (Australia), Dec. 22 (ANI): West Indies captain Chris Gayle last night claimed every fast bowler in the world now knew how to exploit Ricky Ponting’s “major weakness” against the short ball.
“One thing we have exposed in this series is Ricky Ponting’s problems against the short ball,” Gayle told the Herald Sun .
“Our plan to bowl short at him worked really well and they are tactics that other Test teams can use with a lot of success against him,” he added. (ANI)
