Whatmore lauds Gambhir’s great leadership qualities

Kolkata, Apr 20 (ANI): Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) coach Dav Whatmore has praised his captain Gautam Gambhir for his great leadership qualities.
He said this prior to their next game against Kochi Tuskers Kerala on Wednesday (April 20).
“Gambhir has good leadership skills and were proven in the recent one day series against New Zealand. India won 5-0. He’s continuing it here.
“He has got tremendous skills. He comes across as soft-spoken but he’s different. He is a terrific guy and he is making the right decisions,” said Whatmore.
KKR had failed to make an impact in the first three seasons of the IPL, being the only team to have never made the semi-finals.
Recently, after defeating Rajasthan Royals, KKR recorded their second win in three matches in the ongoing IPL tournament. (ANI)
