West Ham Continues With Its Chase Of Thierry Henry And Joe Cole

therJune 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Football club West Ham has made it clear that it still intends to sign French footballer Thierry Henry as well as English midfielder Joe Cole.

The news that both the players are still in the wish list of the club has been validated by co-chairman David Cole who has revealed that the club had made offers to both the players and is likely to get a feedback from the players after the World Cup reaches its climax.

David Cole has revealed to news sources that although an offer has been made to the 32-year-old Barcelona striker, the club is not expecting to get a positive response from Thierry Henry. T

he West Ham co-chairman further stated that the former Arsenal striker had a talk with the club but as of now it seems that the another deal would be offered to him. At the same time, David Cole also emphasized that the offer is still on for Thierry Henry and he has another two to three weeks to take the final call about whether he wants to join West ham or not.

In the meanwhile, the West Ham co-chairman also made it clear that the club has no intention of pushing forward the offer made to Joe Cole until the end of the World Cup.

He added that the club hopes that the England team would be able to give their best shot during the championship and so would not be pressing the matter with the 28-year-old player during such a delicate period of time.
