Arsenal London, Apr. 25 (ANI): Manager Arsene Wenger has accepted responsibility for Arsenal’s title hopes crash.

“I’m to blame,” the Daily Mail quoted Wenger, as saying.

Without a trophy in six seasons, the Gunners are now nine points behind United and Wenger insisted: ‘I pick the team so if anybody is to blame it is me. I choose the players and for me they have had an outstanding attitude all season.”

He said: ‘We have to continue to fight. But we dropped too many points in this game. It is all very frustrating to get just two points from our last nine but that has been the story of our season.”

“We feel the potential is there, but we are in a job where you have to take your chances and be realistic and we still lack something like maturity and experience in important situations,” he added. (ANI)
