WEC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz Defeats Joseph Benavidez

Las Vegas, Aug 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) World Extreme Cagefighting champion Dominick Cruz successfully defended his title against American fighter Joseph Benavidez at WEC 50 which was held in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. The bout that took place at the Palms Casino Resort witnessed the Mexican-American bantamweight champion defeat his opponent with a split-decision in the main event on WEC 50. Anticipation regarding the fight was skyrocketing among all the ardent followers of Dominick Cruz as this was the very first time that he was defending his title since he won the belt in the month of March this year. However, the fighter was surely successful in living up to expectations of his fans who were keeping their fingers crossed before the much-awaited bout commenced last night.
