London, Apr 3 (ANI): Wayne Rooney has reportedly planned a special ‘teen’ surprise for his wife Coleen’s 25th birthday.

The Manchester United and England star has compiled a DVD of his wife Coleen in all the stage productions she starred in as a schoolgirl.

And he has replaced the jewellery he bought for her as a 16-year-old schoolboy with stunning gems from Boodles.

He’s lashed out more than 100,000 pounds, according to sources.

And among the gifts is a diamond eternity ring.

“Wayne wanted to make a special effort for Coleen’s birthday,” the Daily Star quoted a friend of the couple as saying.

“He tracked down tapes of her when she appeared in the plays at St John Bosco School in Croxteth when they first got together.

“He’s got Bugsy Malone and Grease on video and he’s trying to find some more,” the friend said.

“He’s had them put on DVD so they can watch them together.

“It will take them both back to the days when they were just two kids in love, rather than the media superstars they are now.

“They both really cherish the memories from the early days,” the friend added.

Wayne reportedly wants to make her day extra special as Coleen has forgiven him for his romps with hookers Jenny Thompson and Helen Wood.

The pal said: “Wayne knows how lucky he is to have such a forgiving wife and wants to make it up to her after everything she’s been through. (ANI)
