Wanderlei Silva Defeats Michael Bisping In UFC 110

ufcSydney, Feb 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) UFC 110 brought to the arena Wanderlei Silva and Michael Bisping against each other on Saturday. It is the former’s first game as a middleweight player, and it was a tough contest as the opponent too has been strong at his position for a long time.

At the beginning of the game Michael Bisping looked a little bit aggressive with his moves while Wanderlei Silva’s moves seemed calm and controlled. In the first round, Wanderlei Silva played carefully a defensive role for some time. He launched a leg kick move to which Michael Bisping launched a takedown. This was ducked by Wanderlei Silva. Throughout the round Wanderlei Silva provided enough kick moves and Michael Bisping got some opportunities for takedown which however did not succeed as Wanderlei Silva got back without much difficulty. Michael Bisping sprung some solid punches on the opponent, who got a cut on his chin. The former tried a takedown again but failed. The second round started with a brilliant move when Wanderlei Silva held Michael Bisping’s body kick and dropped him to the ground. The game became more and more interesting as both the players seem to be very much in form.

The third round became the deciding round in the game. The crowd enjoyed the game, which became clear from the cheering that they provided for the players. With some brilliant takedown and power punches, Wanderlei Silva was declared the winner at the end- with the scoreboard reading 29-28. The tough competition provided a really exciting game for the audience. Michael Bisping later on said that Wanderlei Silva is a really great opponent.
