Wake Forest Defeats Virginia In John Paul Jones Arena

Virginia, Feb 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Basketball lovers in Central Virginia had braved the harsh winter weather and crowded the John Paul Jones Arena to cheer up their favorite team in the basketball match that was scheduled last night. As per the reports, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons who met the Virginia Cavaliers on their home ground had displayed an incredible form and claimed the title of the match.
As per the reports, around six thousand people had come to boost the spirit of their players in the game and had watched an intense match from the players of both the teams. The reports indicated that both the teams had intended to concentrate much on their offense and gifted a high scoring game to the spectators, who had come to support them. Virginia Cavaliers have some of the most skilled players and so it was expected that they would take the maximum advantage of playing at the John Paul Jones Arena but they failed.
The reports of the match indicate that Virginia Cavaliers was defeated by the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. The final results 64-61, reflected that the Virginia Cavaliers had been defeated by the Demon Deacons by few points. They had rushed throughout the game and shattered the defense wall of the Demon Deacons to win the match. Therefore, it has been quite disappointing for them to be defeated in the match. Sylven Landesberg had done the maximum damage to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons yesterday and added 28 points to the score of his team but that could not save them from defeat against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
